Tim Peightal is the Director of Operations at the Summit Golf School in Daytona Beach Florida.
To his credit, he has students who currently play on the LPGA and Nike tours. Peightal started his career at the Disney golf operations where he had the opportunity to observe and study some of the top instructors today. Those include Bob Toski, Jim Flick, Bill Strausbaugh and Davis Love Jr.
Tim later worked with the 1928 U.S Open
champion Johnny Farrell (at the country club of Florida) and the 1935 PGA champion Johnny Revolta (at
the Evanston Golf club). Tim was also the head professional at Indiana Country Club for seven years
before moving back to Florida to work as head professional at Family Golf and Sports club. Finally, Tim
was the Director of instruction at the United States Senior Golf Academy for six years, 3 years ago he left and became the owner and instructor of Summit Golf School. Peightal’s
goal as a teacher has been to find as many ways possible to make learning the game of golf fun. “After
all is said and done,” he says, “it's still just a game.” Peightal feels that every golfer is an individual and
that there is no one method that fits everyone.
